Research books, content, and personnel mentioned in articles for cases of harm perpetuated to communities or views that do not align with Readin’s mission/ could harm Readin’s community
Be aware or willing to do research on cultural norms and practices for communities to best recognize good or bad representation.
Investigator
Tasks:
Article cover photos, campaign assets, merchandise, social templates, and any other marketing materials for Readin'
Have an interest in learning or assisting in one or more of the following areas: Photography, Motion graphics, Print design, Illustration, 3D assets, Digital graphics, Typography, Layout, Merch design
Graphic Designer/Assistant
Tasks:
Manage the Readin’ budget
Track expenses and revenue
Supporting grant management (applying for grants, tracking grant applications, managing grants received, etc.).
Attend quarterly planning meetings - where you’ll share financial updates
Assist with the expense approval process
Communicate with department heads and assistants to ensure the budget is accurate
Meet monthly with Readin' CEO, Sera, to discuss the Readin' budget
