The Events Admin will be responsible for assisting with administrative needs of the Events team members
Managing the exchange of info and responsibilities, for cross department collaborations.
Manage and create any forms, documents, correspondence needed by all Events team members
Assist with external Events such as giveaways, social channels/group chats, etc
Events Admin
The Committee Manager will focus on leading, planning, and delegating all of our Committees that plan and organize both internal and external campaigns.
Choose and manage committee members by creating a hub for committee communications and Checking in weekly and monthly (frequency depends on campaign needs) to ensure work is completed
Manage committees cross-departmental responsibilities and communications (i.e social media, website info, editorial checks)
Committee Manager
The Book Club Curator will focus on overseeing and managing the Internal and External Book Clubs, and other internal affairs and communications.
Run the internal book club once a month
Manage the Storygraph Book Club details, communicate new books, manage the meetings, etc
Overall duties will be to create, document, and manage the External Book Club
Plan content schedules to advertise the book club on the IG/Threads
Create a tiered content plan and schedule for a paid platform (e.g. patreon, bindery etc)
Book Club Curator
The Editorial Assistant will be assisting with administrative needs of the Editorial Team members
Gather relevant data for initiatives and projects; Manage organization of data and update as needed
Monitor Admin email and communicate high priority correspondence; Manage ARC request processes between Readin’ team members and publishing professionals
Assist with onboarding new Editorial Department members including: staff writers, editors, and book reporters
Organize EIC’s tasks and responsibilities
Monthly check-ins to ensure staff writers and editors are meeting weekly deadlines
Maintain open communication between Editorial Department and EIC
Editorial Assistant
The Auxiliary Editor is responsible to proofreading and copy editing collateral/assets for the Design, Social Media, Website, and Events teams of Readin' Magazine.
Fact check information for quality and context. Review and revise materials based on editorial comments to ensure the content meets the magazine's standards
Address any of the staff members comments or ideas and ask follow up questions when necessary
Reference editorial resources document(s) for questions on grammar, style, genre, etc. Check all citations for credibility and context
Auxiliary Editor
An Auxiliary Book Reporter, is responsible for reading books that correspond with Readin’ Events/Campaigns (i.e. Traveling ARC Program), writing interview questions for an author, and conducting an author interview. You will also have the option to read ARCs/ALCs of upcoming titles and write your un-biased review as a Readin’ Report.
Read ARCs/ALCs in a timely manner
Be able analyze books and identify themes, tropes, etc
Adhere to the editorial process to ensure production timelines run smoothly
Cite all quotes and images that are not yours (from a publisher and/or author’s website, or other media accounts)
When drafting the article, fact check to your best ability and leave comments for editors and investigators if unsure about any quality content
Collaborate with editors and designers to elevate articles to their fullest potential
Auxiliary Book Reporter
The Content Creators (Graphic or Video) are responsible creating engaging content for the Readin’ social media channels (Instagram/LinkedIn) that aligns with Readin’s style guide, mission and values.
Create, submit and finalize at least one graphic or video per week
Keep up with current trends on Instagram
Edit UGC/takeover content
Graphic Content Creators must be proficient in Canva
Social Media Content Creator (Graphic or Video)
A Readin' book reporter reads ARCs/ALCs of upcoming titles and writes their un-biased review as a Readin’ Report. The Readin’ Report is a reader-only space, meant to give readers information about the book and it's themes for them to make their own decision about if the book is the right fit for them.

The Admin Assistant is responsible for the organization, management, and innovation of Readin’s operations.
Creation of team newsletter
Administrative organization of files and team resources
Assist the Executive Assistant in information gathering and creating meeting notes when the EA is out
Coordinate investigative research assignments for all departments
Become the Knowledge Manager for team resources for both general team members and upper management
